I Was Told. is a 55-minute, interdisciplinary piece involving ring juggling and slam poetry. The artist plays with expectations, questions role models and consciously manipulates perspectives - on herself as a woman and performer and on the audience as a mirror and significant influence on self-perception.
With poetic texts, impressive juggling and moments full of closeness and interaction, Kathrin creates a stage on which laughter, reflection and empowerment go hand in hand. Authentic, touching and humorous.

“Your performance was like a lifeline for my sinking thoughts. So powerful, so strong, so full of love.”
“We identified so much with you as an artist, as a woman, as a person with all your insecurities... but above all with you as a human being!”
“At the end of your show, I cried like a baby, and every time I think about that evening, I still feel that lump in my throat - I Was Told. touched me so deeply.”
